intake resonator removal

im looking into removing my intake resonator, but hanvt really figured out how yet. i know wut it does, but can someone please explain how i go about doing this??? thx for the help

The stock prelude intake is already a sort of poor man's cold air intake because of its placement.

I guess if one removes the resonator and chops the bottom of the intake box off, one can ghetto-rig a sort of CAI....

It will be ugly, and may not work as well as the AEM CAI, but hey...you save like 180.00...

I have the the resonator out...sounds great, better throttle response, still gets cold air, looks stock, and was free....

I took mine out Monday. It works ten times better than a short air. Good luck on the front bolt.

haha, true dat...mine was not too hard, I had the bumper off cuz I was installing my OEM FOGS...
