I didn't state that I was going to remove the damn IAB's. They're there for a reason. My question was if anyone has a spacer installed. What's the hood clearance looking like? I don't care what you think about the spacer. I just want to know what the hood clearance is with it installed. 1 spacer below the IAB's has been dyno proven to give the best results. The IAB's are there to broaden the torque down low when they're closed effectively lengthening the runners. With the spacer placed below the IAB plate, the runner length is increased effectively creating improved volumetric efficiency at low engine speeds. If you didn't install the plate while retaining the IAB, Please do not answer the question.
I know this is an older post but I was thinking of putting a spacer under my IAB as well. Have you done this? If so what is the results of clearance and any gains you noticed?
