Intake manifold advice.

well I didn't get much help in the general section, so I'll try here.

Just wondering if anyone has experence with the Venom intake manifold, and how agressive your car has to be modified (N/A) to be able to take advantage of it...
also, are there any other manifolds on the market for the H22? is port-matching & extrude honing the better route vs. the venom unit? thanks. (btw, this is on a 4th gen with bolt ons, and crower cams in the future)

Also, if the manifold is too free-flowing for basic mods on the H22 - what about leaving the stock TB on it, would that help midrange at all?

If not... what throttle body is the easiest to bore out & polish (that will bolt up of course) the type R, or the GS-R?

thanks guys.

the engine is going to need to be pretty heavily modified to take advantage of that manifold. the intention is a turbo, but a seriously built N/A motor could use it too. i'm not so sure that by placing a stock throttle body on it you're really doing much. the air is going to flow better inside the manifold, but the intake is still going to be limited. i think you're best bet is to maybe have the t/b ported and the stock manifold port matched. at least until you can support the amount of air that thing is going to be able to handle

If I were to change my intake manifold I'd get a JDM Type S one for stock look I don't like the look of the venom but then again I don't think it would be easy to find... I've seen in Super Street I think a company making a replica of the JDM. If you want more info about it email me and I'll try to get my brother to bring that magazine home and I'll scan it
