Intake issues :grr: (unique, I swear)

Just bought a used Iceman off EBAY, and wouldn't ya know it, the guy plugged up the hole where the hose to the valve cover was supposed to attach and drilled a hole right next to where the intake attaches to the TB for a nitrous line I'm assuming.

So my question is do you think I should try and find a nipple and put it in the nitrous hole or should I plug that hole and try to open the original hole (silicone in it right now). It's a bit of a mess. Can you get a nipple at any auto place or what do you think (Yes I'm an amateur dammit!).

Don't really have a good reason for why I shouldn't just use the hole they drilled in the intake except for the fact that you figure the company put the hole in the original spot for a reason. Also I thought I read somewhere that it's probably not great to disturb the air just as it is about to enter the engine, which would happen if I attach to where the nitrous hole is.

Thoughts...

I don't think it makes any difference where the hole is located especially since you mentioned it is right next to the original hole.

Were you aware that the previous owner had plugged the original and drilled a new hole in it. Did he make that known in the auction? If not, then I would send it back and get my money back - that's not right!

just cap it, and put a valve cover breather on your valve cover.

Ahhh, good point. Now that I think of it a breather was included in the kit. Thanks! I'm still learning the basics...

Haha, don't tempt me man, I did consider that last year but chickened out. One day maybe.
