Intake

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for a good intake system. I have been looking at both short ram and cold air intakes. My 95 Honda Prelude Si is my daily driver and so i was wondering what you guys recommend getting, short ram or cold air? I was looking at getting (AEM 21-405P Polished Cold Air Intake System) yes or no? Thank you.

Get a CAI or just keep the stock intake and remove the resonator box.

Type S OEM w/K&N filter>all, It's been dyno proven. Unless you wanna save some money but good results get a no name intake and just throw away the cheap filter and get a good one like K&N or an AEM dryflow which I have now and like it.

All you need is the complete intake and the lower half of the air box.

does the type s intake count as an oem? even though it isnt a stock 4th gen intake? i guess it is an oem because it is made by honda. well i found someone with the complete factory intake which i am going to pick up this week and i am ordering the type s intake from JDM Prelude Type S Dynamic Air Intake Kit 220HP BB6 H22A S Spec

The Type S will bolt right up and is better than the 4th gen intake, all you need from the 4th gen intake is the lower half of the air box, no point in buying the whole thing unless its super cheap. Also, remove the resonator from behind the bumper under the air box to free up air flow, make sure to put a vacuum cap on the vacuum box next to the battery for the line that goes to the diaphragm on the resonator.
