Looks like your dimmer relay might have gone out as well as your dimmer switch and illumination control module. Check your dimmer switch and see if it clicks when you roll it all the way up, if it doesnt its broken. Try replacing your dimmer relay as well its in the under hood fuse box. If both of those dont fix it then its going to be your illumination control module. Mine is out too but my cluster still lights up just fine.

Lights in the cluster might be burned out but only if you have the analog cluster. The illumination control module is the black box that sits behind the clock youll see it.

If you get the EL gauges make sure you get the illumination control module for the 94+ Si or VTEC models because you need that to make the dash light up properly. Thats the problem I am having right now. Trying to find one by itself without buying it from the dealership is a pain in the ass.

just a wild suggestion here, but my battery died today, and when it was dead, my dash lights looked exactly like the above pictures when the the lights were on. Once the battery was fully charged they looked fine again.

Stupid Dash lights..

Has anyone figured anything out with this? I have the exact same problem.. Those pictures look exactly like my unit... FRUSTRATING!

Fuses all look good, question to the thread poster-- having any problems with your climate control? This problem didn't come about for me until i took my climate control unit out to fix it. (That still doesn't work either, but now neither do my lights?!) By the way, I just got a new battery.. and that didn't do it for me either.

When you figure this out, PLEASE end my insanity by letting me in on the secret!

Ready to send this thing off a cliff,
Caitlin

I had this very same problem about 3-4 years back. Turned out my dimmer control unit went bad. I'm referring to the black relay-like box that is secured in a white plastic mount beside the fuel/temp gauge (closer to the right tweeter cover).

You have to take off the gauge cover (the long dark plastic cover on your dashboard) to expose it.

I replaced mine and it fixed that problem. I opened it up and one of the transistors inside completely exploded, even damaging nearby components... Otherwise it could have been a radioshack fix.
