smoke when the alarm is triggered?! why in the world would you want that? where would you mount it? you're gonna need a power inverter just to be able to run the smoke machine off of the car battery. with all of the accidental triggers of car alarms, having smoke accompanying it would be a PITA.

I am willing to go through with that. I live in NYC - hehe, just want some piece of mind. Member ETD Racing has installed one in his car but is unable to describe how he installed it in his car. If you were trying to steal a car, and smoke started to form - what would you think it is=]. Just another theft deterrent I have in mind.

if i stole a car the alarm would be disabled and it'd be on a flat-bed riding away.

Just get a Rottweiler, and put him in the back seat. I guarantee that if anybody so much as touches your car, that dog will be all the "alarm" you need. Heheheheh...

well, i own a smoke machine. (for DJing, aka Fog Machine) and it takes a few minutes for it to heat up. So thats pointless, unless you have a "Can of smoke?" maybe... or something thats kinda like a one time use, like those military smoke cans. Or there might be another smoke machine on the market.

nah, all smoke machines have to heat up before they turn the juice into fog.

I got a better idea..theres an alarm you can get that sends 10,000 volts through any basterd who sits in your seat once the alarm is triggered.
Better yet there is another one that shoots 5 foot flames from underneith the drivers side door (this is more for carjackings) runs on small propane tanks pretty cool
