Installing CAI

What is the easiest way to install the thing? Is is necessary to take the bumper off to remove the resonator?

I did this thing over the weekend so it is still very fresh in my mind. all the hoses come off pretty easy with pliers and a yank so the OEM intake should be cake to get out. Then you have to get the tube going into the resonator out. There are two or three bolts I believe that you can see by looking down at the tube. The one towards the front of the car is a bish but there is just enough room to squeeze your 10mm wrench UNDER the headlight and over the bolt. Pull up on the tube and it pops out, there is a rubber piece that just pulls out as well.

Then you get to the ****ty resonator. One bolt you get at by taking the fender liner off, one by going under the car and taking the splash guard off, then there is a third one that you can't really see at all unless you pop out the turning signal. Even then you can barely see it. What I then did was took out the bolt that holds the bumper to the fender right at the wheel well. Pulled waaaay back on the bumper and managed to squeeze the wrench in. It would be great to have a friend here to hold the bumper. Then I stuck my hand through the turn signal to guide the wrench and you'll eventually get a hold of it. Its pretty tough to do it so it would be easier to get access if you just take off the bumper but it'll probably take a little longer. Not necessary though. Gu luck!
