Ive had the Silverstars for some time now and there not bad, better than the stock for sure. Im thinking in going with the PIAA xtreme white plus next though. Any thoughts?
crazyness man i just put silverstars in my headlights last night too! but...i put them in because one of my cheap GE walmart cool blue bulbs busted after about 4 months of use. i left the working one in to compare with the silverstar and to be honest the light the GE bulb put out looks very similar, if not even brighter, to the silverstar bulb at less than half the price (17 something for a pair). hopefully these silverstars will last longer than 4 months and i'll be happy, i think the GE bulb was a fluke though. *note that this is for 9003/H4 bulbs not 9006.

Just get some sidemarkers now.
I do have the jdm sidemarkers , not installed yet...Trying to find the a place that doesn't charge more than $80 When I do get them installed , should I have them work as turn signals or leave them on ?

I seriously doubt that, 'cause
a) Walmart is shady
b) sometimes the human eye cannot be trusted
c) it's quite possible that the luminescence from the silverstar was making it look like those $hit GE "euro cool blue" or whatever bulbs look brighter than they really are
But yeah, you're right about the duration, your Silverstars will last much, much longer.
I'd really like to see these from inside the cabin shining on the road also ... this is what my headlights look like, I've got 9005 Piaa Extremes in my low beams.
My Dad is good buddies with a guy who works in sales for Piaa .. I'm gonna get wiper blades and new headlights when I get 1 piece's and also when I get my foggies goin free! woo!
are you willing to extend a gracious hand and hook people here up with the discount on the piaa bulbs? If not, I'm still curious how much they go for, before and after the discount. Silverstars are about 20/bulb. You mean those silicone wiper blades? Are those just inserts, or blades as well? I was thinking about a set, 'cause when it gets cold enough here, these rubber ones get hard and won't cover the windshield properly, so when I use washer fluid, there's like a pond or lake of fluid on the windshield which gets missed ... and then it freezes. (dammit i hate MI)

Do you mean 9006 ? 9005 is high-beam for us usdm . I also got those Piaa wiper blades. They're much better than my old oem ones...I got them for $38 picked up from Tim @ next-gear
