Installed RSR...

So yesterday, I installed my RSR. Oh boy, that took forever. Though, I was having a hard time removing those plastic hangers. It was a direct bolt on to my SE Lude... I will be posting final pictures of it soon.

The exhaust sounds kind of bassy, So far so good. No complaints yet, hopefully it will get louder later.

Exactly. My RS*R has stayed pretty quite ever since I put it on. I have had it for somewhere around 3 years.

It will break in a but, but wont get loud. My Tanabe Hyper was very quiet after install, but slowly got a little louder. The sound of the Tanabe Hyper is about the same as an RSR.

Hey, I always wonder if an RSR Exhaust will work with a SI Prelude. I know it's designed for VTec, but is there a way to make it work with an SI?

It'll work but the difference is the Vtec has a longer cat converter and maybe a bit more on the down/flex pipe ... not entirely sure.

You will need to modify the flange on the rear cat flange to line it up with the vtec exhaust , and the muffler wont protrude out off the bumper as far as it would on a vtec.

I've got a 4WS non-vtec w/ a greddy SP (made for vtec). My bumper rattles on my rear control arm .. is annoying, im in the midst of getting a carsound pipe put in.

I've had my RS*R on my Si for years. It bolted up like nothing.

Whoa, Jer you have a THM? Psh, I thought I was the only prelude on the planet with one..... weird.

Seriously I've NEVER... EVER seen/heard about another prelude with a Hyper Medallion, let a lone a 4th gen. And I've only seen it on ONE other car before, a Teg. ... Always thought it was weird noone had the same exhaust as me.

I've always wondered what the sound difference is between a THM and a RS*R.

That exhaust looks Fabulous, especially with the WWRS kit. Can't wait to order my RS*r. I thought they were in the 550+ range for h23s though. Guess not?
