how visible are the rivets? It seemed to me that they were a bit obvious. Would you recommend mounting it this way or would epoxy or double faced tape be a better method since they would invisible. What is the possibility of painting the pod to match the interior grey trim?

With the wires and pressure lines under the pod, you would have to use screws or something just as strong. Epoxy might work, but rivets were a whole bunch faster.

I thought about taking the pillar and pod down to Home Depot to get color matching paint, but I didnt remember I was going to do that until it was almost in. (I have been waiting for 7 months to get my pod(backorder) and I was very exicited to get it).

I have since colored the rivets with a black magic marker and it hides them very well, I can see them when im sitting in the car. Besides, they look kinda cool from the outside.

I ordered the pod from re-racing.com but it was on backorder for like 7 months, I got the gauges there as well.
I got the VTEC light from radio shack
The rivet gun and the drill from Sears.

Yea, the 1/4 sucks, I think it has something to do with my 2.6 sec 60ft times(really bad tires) and my hacked up Si exhaust.

Its my parents garage I do all my modding over there cause my appt doesnt have a garage. Plus they have air tools and a compressor

Thanks for all the info on your install. I think I may try something like that. What was the total cost, including gauges, pod, and any extras? What was the hardest part of the job? I haven't searched for anything on the gauge install but I'd bet there is stuff already posted... do you have any tips to add or comments on the gauge install?
