Installed DC header on 4th gen VTEC!

It was sure a good investment. I gained very little from 2-3 rpm after that it pulls really hard specifically after 4 rpm. When it hits 4 rpm it feels as though the vtec engaged. All I have to say is that there was a big difference. It also made the exhaust much louder. My exhaust is already ultra free flowing with no resonator so adding the headers made it much more louder. I rapt each individual runners in heat rrapir. When I removed the stock manifold I used the dremel tool to get all the carbon build up from the head after that I did some send paper sending. Today I'm going to put in AEM pulleys.

Me too. He made it sound like a good buy, plus I'm still running a stock header with a Tanabe GPM cat back, so it should help things along nicely.

I have to agree with the performance gains myself. I just recently added the DC Sport SS headers. I'm running a 92 SI with a JDM H22 Swap. I was previously running on just an AEM CAI and N1 Catback and thought the performance was adequate, but after installing the DC headers, the difference was definitely noticeable. I'm completely new to import tuning and thought I wouldn't notice the difference, but there's no doubt in my mind about the gains.
Up through 3K RPM there isn't a noticeable gain, maybe 1-2 hp, but when you hit about 4K RPM the throttle response is much more significant. The gains actually feel similar to VTEC kicking in and I look at the tach and smile knowing that the real fun is just around the corner when VTEC kicks in.
The DC headers are definitely a sound investment if you're looking for performance gains. Just thought I'd confirm that, coming from someone new to tuning and postings.

TurboEvo has a Greddy exhaust and header buy in the For Sale forum. Greddy is going to be more expensive than DC.

don't get DC Sports SS.....if you want SS get the GReddy. The DC Sports ceramic is the best bang for the buck as you can have it for like $300, maybe less??

UKVtec

Any idea where to get the best deal on a DC Header in the UK? I was looking for a Greddy header, and I'm waiting to hear from Takakaira in Hong Kong. However, if I can get a DC CC for decent cash, I'll settle for that.

p.s - you coming to Santa Pod this Sunday? Should be loads of big Jap turbo's there!!

Yeah I got mine for around 380 shipped as well.

Charlie, I ordered mine from aieonline.com, he's constantly having a group buy on it, 25% off all greddy products. I always order stuff from him with no problems at all.

I am still waiting for my header in the mail. When it finally arrives I will have to say if I like it or not.
