Well for oil I would say Mobil 1 Synthetic but I don't know how many kms on the car, or if it has been running synthetic. For Tranny Fluid I say go Honda...aftermarket ones have amplified the Prelude tranny problems for people I know, and Switching back to Honda Tranny Fluid made it better. And I'm pretty sure unless you go really high end...Stock Honda oil filters are best...

Get all the parts from Honda and you wont have a problem. Get the oil from any Automotive place, I run Castrol GTX.

Also change your fuel filter and air filter.

spark plugs - stick with NGK, Pepboys carries these for about $2 each.

wires - stick with your stock ones if you're not arching. I'm running on NGK wires, no difference from stock.

dist cap - don't forget the rotor as well. get it from honda.

oil - if you don't run your car hard, use regular oil. Synthetic does give you a piece of mind though.

filter - mobil 1

tran fluid - honda MTF

you said you need brakes too? Get front AEM pads from preludeparts.com and rear Axxis pads from coximport.com. And get Valvoline brake fluid from Pepboys.

I would never put Bosch plugs in my car. My car gets NGKs only. I have NGK Wires. I use Mobil fossil oil, with STP filters. Excellent oil filter review by Marcucci of NTPOG I'd recommend a Honda dist. cap along with the rotor of course. Also, I'd put Honda MTF in the tranny.

I ran Bosch for quite a while, I didn't run the platinum plus 4 like Dennis, but the regular $2 Bosch. Then I switched to NGK, what a difference it made.

Dennis, you shouldn't compare your platinum +4 with the copper NGKs. Go buy a set of platinum NGK and give us a real comparison , I'd like to know myself.
