inner tie rods

I went to get an alignment today and they said they could not do it because it wont be perfect. They said my inner tierods are going. Is this normal? The car only has 112,00 miles and was never lowered? So i just had them balance the tires and now the steering wheel shakes more!

I replaced mine and when I took it to get aligned they said one of them was bad because they could move one of the wheels slightly. My steering wheel also shakes at random speeds. I think it might be that the steering rack needs to be adjusted
