ingalls camber kit

im about to purchase an ingalls camber correction kit for the front of my 95 prelude. they have two different types. one with rubber bushings and the other with polyurethane bushings. i'm leaning more towards with rubber bushings? but what are the advantages and disadvantages of each?

Yeah I guess. I am thinking of fabricating a camber kit and selling it. It is the most pathetic looking thing to cost 130. One little wedge of metal. a large bolt and the rubber bushings.

I'd recommend getting a front Progress Camber Kit. I have a Progress Camber Kit for the front and a set of Ingalls Camber Kit for the rear. The Progress is not making any sounds while my Ingalls is squeaking like the sound a bed makes when a guy and gurl get it on...

Can someone please suggest to me a recommended brand (oil?) or lubrication (grease?) they have successfully used to stop this camber kit squeaking??

Yeah! I got the ingall camber kits (polyurethane) also for both front and rear. They make anoying noise man! the noise is exactly like what darkbrownmonkey described. I also have use bottle spray grease but they don't work that well though. Still squeaking like before after u sprayed on the cammber kits. So, i guess what a point of using it then, you know. Darkbrownmokey! i guess dont waste your money on those grease cuz it wont help unless you get a new camber kits or something. Hopefully i will do that too when i got some more $ to spend.

Do we really need both front and rear camber kits? or can we get by with just the fronts?

I have the progress up front and ingalls in the rear also. Good combo.

And for the people wondering how to lube it: Just go to Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Get white lithium grease. (Just ask them, they'll know what your talking about). A lot of people use the white can with the little red straw. The straw is a must.

Jack up one side, and I usually put a few towels around the inside of the wheel well, behind the kits. Because it kind of gets everywhere. And just go to town on the kit; spray from any angle possible. The key is to get the bushings. I don't think there is ever too much lube

Repeat for the other side.

forthgeneration, thanks for your help. I just got back from buyin some of that White Lithium Grease you mentioned and I'll check it out this weekend.

For those who are still interested in getting a set of front Progress Camber Kit, please go to the following link (this is where I bought my Progress Camber Kit from).

http://www.digitalracer.com/catalog/...l.asp?pid=3316

I'd rather pay $141 (free shipping) for these front Progress Camber Kit instead of paying $130 (someone mentioned earlier about some groupbuy deal) for a set of front Ingalls Camber Kit. Just tryin to help...

Keep in mind though...

The progress kit for the front wheels (I think they only make em' for the front) is not fully adjustable like ingalls. It has two different settings; one for 1 degree of correction and another for more. The ingalls is fully adjustable, and there are two different models. One adjustable model for under 1 degree of correction (for moderate drops like pro kit), and another for dropped cars that allows for 1-3 degrees of correction.

However, many people say that ingalls do not work that well in the front. Hence why I have progress up front/ ingalls rear.

Oh, and make sure you buy like three cans of that stuff.

Yeah, Progress Camber Kits are only made for the front wheels of our ludes. I've had my Progress set installed for around 7 months now and I love them. My front Progress Kits do not make any noises like my rear Ingalls Kits.

So, all in all, like forthgeneration, I too am satisified with the Progress front and Ingalls rear combo.
