Yep, H23 has 158 torque cause of the larger displacement

what do you mean by "most important part"? There may be a little secret, but if there was i would not tell - hehe! But there is nothing we haven't told you about it!

just curious but what would the peak horsepower do? like what rpm it peaks at? What would the difference be? i assume it is the same as the h23

Whats the most important part? JDM....? h22a1 is usdm... One of the reasons why I bought the h22a over a turbo kit for the h23a was cuz its like renewing my car with a low mileage engine. Could that be it? Anyways heres the f22b specs, courtesy of preludecrazy.com :

DOHC
2156
157.811 @ 6000
148.276 @ 5000
9.5:1

Compare to H23A1:

DOHC
2259
160 @ 5800
156 @ 4500
9.8:1

thank brandon. i just wanted to break the 16's and i did that so i'm happy.

but for everyone else i just don't want to start a freakin f22b is better the h23 war. i think it's g@y the whole h22 vs h23 war. about who's is better and blah blah blah. i just wanted to let everyone know that the h22 isn't the only jdm motor you can put in your ride. and let everyone know what are the spec. on the f22b cause not to many poeple know about it.

oh and one last thing. everyone got to stop raggin on UBetterBelieveIt for running a good run with his motor and runing only .3 slower then h22 ludes. people have to remember it's not the car but how you drive it. i bet a lot of us could kick the living shlt out of a viper if the guy didn't know how to drive it. and i'm not trying to start a fight or anything but i've raced cars that on paper are better then me (ie. integra GSR) and i have walked on them cause the driver sucked. by no means i'm saying i'm a good driver but people get use to there cars differently, some faster then others. but either wat just wantted to say that. to stand up for my f22b bro

It's identical to the H23 Valve cover.

Doesn't the H23 have a longer stroke than the F22? I thought that was the reason the H23 had the better torque and higher displacement. Correct me if I'm wrong.
