Impressions after installing 5th gen AEM cai

I always remove the intake when the winter comes and intall my stock intake with removed resonator. Now it's warm so I installed the intake back. My car is a '94 si stock everything besides, egr blocked, heater hose TB bypass and IAC valve bypass. For the intake I ordered a K&N 9 inch tapered filter and tapered coupling for the TB connection.

After intallation, as I was casually accelerating, when the rpm started to rise the engine had a very noticable pull. It deffinetly put a smile on my face . Without a doubt there was gain in torque and hp. I had to get used to not to apply as much throttle when cruising because the car would just accelerate. The acceleration was drastically improved through all levels of rpm. When you install a mod on your car and it puts a smile on your face after a test drive you can safely say it works.

Just want to say 5th gen intake is worth it.

wow, I put headers cai and removed my cat, and didn't notice much of a diff. Only maybe 10 hp out of all of that...

Really not that noticeable. but every engine is different.

Love my NA tune up. CAI and headers is best mod I did to my car. My exhaust was done first, so when I bolted up the AEM CAI it was like completing the mod. Car sounded great and the throttle response amazing. unforturnatley the night I put it in I ran out of body clips for the inner fender well so when we were test driving it the fender well fell on the tire. It sucked a bit.
