I'm posting again, Input Needed

Okay i posted another thread as 'my friend needs help' I'm posting this again, because he does and no one replied to that other thread i posted for him. okay what the situation is, his car is open and all the driver side door works fine, he has his passenger side door shaved and it's shut & locked, and he can't unlock it, he has half the trim off and he was tried jimmying it by the latches within the door but the lock won't budge, or is there a special way to do this (he also has no power running to that door besides for the mirror and window) please please i need some replies so i can help him out of this situation so he doesn't have to rip this door off and get a new one...

Sorry bro never had shaved doors. If I think of anything I will post. I have a few friends with shaved doors I'll ask them.

Can he open it from the inside? Or the door just won't open?

His door just won't open, he has the Side panel sort of half off, just enough that he's been trying to fiddle with the door rods but no luck, it just 'won't open'

I can only think of 2 things that could be stoping it, the lock could be stuck locked or the latch that keeps the door shut is stuck. Try to find the rods for both and see they move.

Sounds like thebest thing to do is take the door panel off and peel back the vapor barrier and see if you can access the lock or the latch. One of the rods might have come loose so the door won't open.

Good luck.

Later

Yeah, he's been doing that the rods move, but when you go the unlock way it gets tight he says, maybe he needs to grease it up and use a wrench to get some torque on it...
