if you have a short-shifter please read!

Hi. im a machinist and i can just make this stuff myself. if theres anyone out there who can give me exact dimensions off the piece to make a blueprint please do. it would be cheaper to make. thanks

Hey, just a thought, wouldn't it be better if you bought one so you can get exact dimensions for a better fit? But that's a cool idea though, sorry I can't help because I don't have one.

finally, someone who thinks like me....I have a homemade short shifter...here, check it out, its about 4"'s long, but I have to improvise it, Im going to add another plate to the other side, and use screws this time(not that the zip ties arent working) http://members.tripod.com/vteg_net/id8.htm if you need any help, or any pics, lemme know

I think you should try to make a knock off of the c's short shifter. Those things cost a pretty penny.

the c's short shifter is the same as our shifters, but the place where the cable goes attached to is higher, my short shifter serves the same purpose, so does any short shift adapter, why pay so much for the C's?

you can cut off the mounting piece that the cable connects to and then weld it on higher up the stick.... then weld in some material to extend the side to side cable.. then jus for ****s and giggles cut off some of the shifter and get a MOMO knob and jam it on there and tighten the set screws down
