o1ambre1o: Given some Malibu, I'd bang you hien!
Jspec81: If you do a scene with Mika, I'll give you $500 and I'm sure others would chip to that pot.
Why not just pay $1000 for an auto to manual conversion and run mid 15's rather than just pay more than that for bolt-ons that still might not get you down to the 15's? Then, work your way towards turbo and run 14's.
well , im not a hard core drag racer. i just did it out of curiosity and it was a lot of fun, so ill probably show up to a couple more days during the summer for fun.
but after i pay off my car, i will be doin the h22 swap (5speed given) so im not really doin to much to her now untill then.

what makes you think that a turbo auto will just take you in the 14s? i'm willing to bet you that if you build up an auto tranny and turbocharged the baby that it should run you in the 12s....thats with the proper build-up and running on 15-18psi.....me personally as much as i would love to have a stick, i'm gonna stick to my automatic just because i get more fun beating 5-speeds around here who thinks that 5-speeds are the sh*t....some of them cant even drive for sh*t...and you have every right to bash on them since you beat them with an auto...
i personally bought a prelude cause its fun to drive, i bought this particullar prelude cause of the care that was taken by the previous owner... i want a 5 speed cause its gonna make an allready fun car even more fun... and i figure while i im swappin the tranny, might as well go for vtec
but i totally see ur point dflip, if i was really into racing, i would probably consider that option to.
me personally...i will keep my auto and build it up....i just wanted to see how far i can go with it....that makes it even more of a challenge to me to see ....i also like it due to the traffic here in jersey sometimes...i tell you this though...my cousin keeps on braggin on how fast his type sh is..so i decided to race him from a light..and the lil **** couldnt even catch up to me in my auto...and thats exactly what i mean about people thinking that they could drive stick but they overall, they simply suck at him...i even beat him in the highway...and right before the our exit, i was a good 25 cars in from of him..i couldnt even see him in my rearview mirror...i had to slow down to 40mph on a 65mph just for him to catch up...its all in the driver...i guess i was a better driver in zigzaging through cars..hehehehe...my cousin=no balls...hehehehe...
