i'm in the same boat, but it gets better for me. i also have an erratic idle besides the usual warmed up idle one. it is slower, only does it when my car is warming up (right before the first bar on the water temp pops up until the second bar pops up) it threatens to kill my car, and sometimes does. i have an N/A H22a with head porting for a future turbo. i think it may be my idle air control (not the valve under the TB, i replaced that one, but the one with the allen wrench for idle adjust) because it seems to drop to around 750 regardless of my adjustments. keep in mind with my port job, i have to have a faster idle or the car will try to stall. i've looked at the other "solutions" and though they work for others, either it didn't for me or i've already tried it
