Idle/Electrical problem...

I am having an idle problem where if I use too much battery power, the engine will idle really low (below 1000 RPM). For example, if I roll both my windows up at the same time the engine will begin to idle lower. Or if I close the sunroof, it will idle lower. I am thinking it's either my alternator or the battery. Can someone give me a better answer?

Sounds normal to me. You do know that the idle with all accessories off and the car warm is supposed to be between 600 and 700 rpm right. I know that when I roll my windows up or close the sunroof the idle does dip a bit. It there really is a problem it could be the ELD (electonic load detector).

HTH,

Well, I just don't remember this happening before winter. Maybe I just have my head up my ass.

Could it be the alternator or battery?
