So I was just wondering if this is normal, my prelude swapped H22 idles at 800rpm when warm. When I depress the brake nothing happen but when I release the pedal the rpm goes to about 1100 and then back to 800 is this normal? If so, what is the reasoning?
If something is wrong what can the problem be ..
I'd check the vacuum line to the brake booster and the booster itself, a vacuum leak will cause a unstable idle and with the brake pedal relying on a vacuum controlled diagram it might be the reason it's doing this.
