does anyone know how much these are to replace i think the reason my car idles high is because of this i was told that motors from japan sit outside and the idle air control goes bad.. has anyone had to replace it? how much?
I doubt it's the problem- just because it's more likely that you have a vacuum leak somewhere else. I'd exhaust a search for a vacuum leak before I buy one (if I recall a few hundred bucks).
yep thats exactly what it is doing but right now my rpm gauge doesnt work so i cant tell but it doesnt have a static idle i just replaced my o2 sensor cuz i thought thats what was doing it but now i know for sure how much does it cost to replace? im calling the honda place tommorow but i know dealerships are expensive
It will also rev hunt if you are low on coolant or have air in it. I would check that first. With the engine cold, check the radiator- you might find it's low, even though the overflow tank is not.
we are pretty sure its the ICS because we cleaned it and put it back and the car idled fine for about 3 minutes and went back to idleing funny i called the dealership they said its 240.00$ to fix.. ouch
