idle adjust

Now that i am much higher altitude my car idles lower, I thought this problem would be fixed considering the car has an o2 sensor does this mean mine is bad or do i just have to adjust my idle?
Ryan 400-500 idle

the o2 sensor just adjusts the amount of fuel that gets thrown into the cylinders. It doesn't do anything in regards to altitude.

i understand that but being that i have a dif level of 02 than i did in jersey this car at 10,000 feet performs like a$$ so i wanted to know how to inject more into the cylinders.

the oxygen sensor is in the exhaust... it just detects the ratio of fuel and leftover oxygen from combustion.

all combustion engines perform worse at higher altitude, hence why most prop planes have some sort of FI on em.

your car is performing poorly because simply there isn't as much air up there than at sea level.

check this topic out: Find the Throttle Position Sensor (PIC)

look at the big scan of the Helm's down the middle of the page. find the throttle body. The idle adjustment screw is located immediately under the arrow thats pointing to the TB.
