Ideas on selling my lude?

well the time has come to move on...but i really don't know how to go about this. i've placed an ad in the want ad book and got a few calls but all flakes. i had one guy pull up next to me and ask me about it, but i haven't heard back. i've even stuck for sale signs in the rear windows.

the car looks nice enough, but two things worry me about selling it. one, it just clicked off 153k miles, even though the head was redone last summer. all maintenance (major and minor) is done and on point. the car runs fine. but the number tends to scare people. and two, it's got a salvage title. before i owned it, it was hit in the rear quarter. not really a bad hit, the insurance company just didn't want to pay i guess. my friend took it to his shop, took off all the panels and rebuilt it. it doesn't even pull and runs flat as a rock.

so with this in mind, does anyone have an idea of how i can sell it? i'm looking ideally for around $5-6k. any ideas would be appreciated.

What is your problem with 5th gens? No one ever said anything about buying a 5th gen, even in 93srvman's post. There's no need for all this hate. To each his own, I was gonna trade my car for a 5g myself...
