Iceman Intake Questoin

I have an iceman intake but no filter. I need to know the dimensions of the filter so i can order a new one. Does anyone have this information? I cant find it anywhere, not even on their website.

Have you tried measuring the pipe? That works wonders.

Just call Knight engineering and ask them what the replacement part # is. They are pretty cool guys to deal with on the phone.

boy, you're smart! actually, the iceman pipe where the filter attaches is not round, it is ovaled shaped to fit through that hole in the engine bay/fenderwell. What you have to do is take a round filter and stretch it over the iceman pipe and tighten it down with a big hose clamp.

back when I had an iceman, I ordered a replacement filter from Summit Racing www.summitracing.com sorry, I don't remember the size of it.

Ya but you could use the short ram version (a circle) to get the correct diameter. I too need a new filter as mine got slightly damaged so I will try summit racing - I couldn't get Knight's engineering guys to get back to me via email.

Also, has anyone found a flexibel K&N filter that worked. One guy said he found a stretchable K&N but I haven't seen them???

A round filter will not stretch to fit the oval opening of the intake pipe. I`ve tried.

huh?? I'm confused. The stock filter opening, at least mine, is circular, but stretchy so it can fit over both the short ram (circle) or CAI (oval).

Sorry I can't measure it for you though, I've gone home for christmas.

Oh, yes it does. You know why? Cuz BIG SteveV says it does!!! He knows all!

I wasn't trying to be "smart" when I said measure the pipe, because, oval or not, it should be pretty precise. Whatever it measures out to be, call somewhere, like Summit, see what size they carry, or find out the pt. # as James said, and go from there.
