Hey i was just wondering what an IACV is and where do i find it? Im having A LOT of idling problems and nothing seems to be helping me at all... someone suggested i clean that valve. Can anyone help me find it, and tell me how to clean it? a diagram would probably help a lot
Thanks
could u spell out what iacv means ? we ve dealt with a lot of idld problems, and they ve all been fixed. You have to describe the symptoms, so we can try and find you a solution.

OK man here goes. Ive been having some idling problems recently. This is what ive done : 1- i changed the timing belt and had the timing done on the engine 2- i took off the IACV and cleaned it out using carbon cleaner 3- I bled the coolant system.
The Bad idling only happens when the car is warm and its been driven for 10-15 min, before that the car is riding fine and the idle is perfect.
Now what i did was unplug the IACV with the car running and it does not change the idle. All you hear is a little pop from the p-flow like its sucking in air for a split second and thats it. Is that a sign that i need a new IACV?
its probly your fast idle valve. do a search, we just covered this about a week or so ago. just type idling problems or something, and it will come up.
