I think i killed my lude

So ive been driving around my 92 prelude for about two years now and for the last year its had this problem with the main relay so when the relay gets too hot the car wont start and my drive light just blinks. Also had a problem with the alternator going out on me once but i replaced that. So now i was leaving work and at about 25 mph i let off the gas and my rpms started jumping up and down and then the drive light (the one that tells me the gears on the dash) started blinking and my speedometer died. Everything else works fine but when i start the car and run it for about a minute it does this. Anybody have any idea why its doing this i dont have the money to take it to a shop. The car had a motor swap just before i bought it so it has a f22 accord motor in it right now and the bad relay (its the efi main relay)

Well you should replace the relay, it's really easy to do and for the other thing it could possibly be the electrical portion of the ignition switch but you need to test it first to make sure. Google helms manual for the prelude and a site called spoonertuner should pop up, get the manual and it will have the specs for testing the ignition switch. My car did this when the electrical portion of the ignition switch was going out, dash instruments stopped working while driving but car ran normal and would randomly not crank. I went to go take it all apart and chunks of crumbled solder fell out from the switch which is located on the steering column on the left side.

i had a 91 accord that did the same thing but the S light flashed and car wouldnt start . i replaced the main relay and all was good . it had the f22a motor in it but i dont think its motor relevant . just get a main relay .
