i am looking for a new engine for my 92 lude my h23a1 blew up now i am just trying to find a good one that i could trust does anyone know where i could get one or am i better off getting one locally?

Try eBay. There are a few reputable sellers on there. Also check on your local Craiglist because there have been some good deals on there lately in my area. Where are you located?

i didnt know if ebay was a good place or not but i will look there i have been looking on craigslist and there isnt much there is some a nice h23 vtec but the guy seems kinda ify but thats pretty much it but i live in upstate ny where there isnt much at all but salt and rust lol

Try your local junk yard also, i got my 94 h23 from there with 74k miles. ive had it for 4 years and no problems with the engine itself. it also came with a header and AEM cam gears lol.....I got lucky with it, you might also.

Hmotors online. get a complete swap. they come with around 40K-60K mi on them. This is the way to go.

i found two engines online but they are both from canada is that legit or is it some kind of scam thing but they come with everything i think ill need for 1,300 that includes a trany

will i need to buy a new exhaust for the swap or will my exhaust from my h23a1 fit the h22a
