I nEED Help AsAp!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello guys

i Need help with my prelude.......So i was driving down the freeway on my way home, when the car started making a clank clank noise. It was not that loud, first i thought it was the cluth because i would feel it near to the left side of the car. So i get home, and i notice the wheel is missing a lug nut with the stud.!!!!! it broke off... th other 2 out of 3 left were messed up i had to brake them to get the wheel off.... no i cant get the stud out of there to replace them, is there a particular way to do it..... so far i only have one stud gone n i am getting desperate i need my car

Can anyone help me guide me how to remove them the proper way...i hit them towards the back with the hammer but the studs hit the black shield the car has.....so i cant do it!!!!!!

hit the sh*t out of your studs with a hammer, then use air to pull the replacement studs back through.

Wow! What causes that to happen other than hitting a curb at a high speed?

It was a serious question, do the studs snap for any reason other than hitting something at high speeds? Yes smack the old studs out with a hammer and put the new ones in or just buy a whole new hub assembly.

I could see that happening if the lugs were so loose the wheel could wobble.

Hit the studs with a hammer. If they don't come out, hit them harder or with a bigger hammer. Repeat.

Use a sledge hammer, not a sissy nail hammer

Dude, either bang the old studs out and put new ones in or replace the whole hub. That giant nut in the middle there is holding it on, new hubs come with studs in them.

Hammering it out is pretty simple.

1. Take a 3/8 in brass punch or just a 3/8 extension, whatever works.
2. Put your gloves on.
3. grab a sufficient hammer.
4. Take the punch and hold it against the stud.
5. Take your hammer and wack the **** out of the punch on the stud untill it comes out.
Then click on the url in this post and proceed. I'm sure you can find your new studs at napa or a autostore.
