1. Springs are going to actually lower the car. (duh) I am buying, after many different decision changes, Eibach sportlines. It will give the lowered heigth I want! I am going to pack them with Koni Yellows.
2. Our cars are actually equipped with struts which just dampen the ride so you don't bounce all over the place. And give the cushion when you hit a bump. I have been told and this is what I believe that a lowered strut is what would be the best. I have also been told that you can take stock and cut them up in a way that will work... but I think there are better applications for lowering your car.
3. Coil overs are another way to lower your car. Instead of your car staying in one lowered stance you have the ability to do it in different degrees. The coilovers have perches that will adjust your ride height! Camber is the negative/positive affect on lowering your car. When you lower you car with a spring the wheel will not ride flat so to speak on the ground. It will ride more on the inside and tear up the inside of your tires! A camber kit will readjust that so you are straight in line. There are other factors to not getting a camber kit. I think it is money well spent to do it! I don't think there is a good cheap anything. Just remember that when you pay for cheap parts, that is normally what you get! I am not saying there are good and bad deals.... Just be patient and do some research before you jump into it! You will be happy you did! Everybody has different taste and I am hoping to get a good ride out of my setup! Sorry to go on forever. Hope it helps!
