I need everybody's opinion about a header

I bought a Ractive header header to install while I was doing my H22 swap this past weekend. Well, it didn't come with any gaskets. I know I can reuse the gasket at the head, but the flange on the bottom of the A pipe(between header and down pipe) and both flanges on the B pipe(between down pipe and cat) are flat (no bevels for donut gaskets like stock). I can't find any flat gaskets to fit and Ractive didn't return my call.

I know, I know, I should've bought a DC, but I was trying to save some $$$. I paid $222 for the Ractive and the DC is $370.

My question: Does anybody know what I can do about the Ractive header or should I return it and get a DC? Thanks!

Try it out. It might be alright. It's not like the DC Sports header is even that good anyway.

Do you know where? That wouldn't be too bad. I've shopped at least 20 websites and they all run $340-$380. Summit Racing has them for $370. The only reason I would pick them is because they will have it here next day and I need it this week.

SUB-- The original gaskets won't work between the header and downpipe--and at he cat. The flanges on the Ractive are flat/not recessed for the donuts. Could I use gasket material and maybe sray it with copper spray?? Where can I get copper spray?

Thanks all for the input!

Well if the header is so ghetto that you can't find any gaskets that work with it, then yeah, I'd get something else. Go DC Sports Ceramic or Greddy. DC Sports SS = waste of money when you could buy a Greddy.

got a brand new neuspeed header on e-bay for about 200.00, was wary about neuspeed but it's been on there for about 6 mos and it sounds great coupled up with my thermal r&d stealth. very throaty.

What about Kamikaze headers? They CLAIM to make more than DC headers do, powerwise...
