i did it... i'm finally lowered

MODS: feel free to move this if you need to.

well its been a long LONG time coming, and its still not the ideal set up but it works for now. i'm dropped on some tokico springs (part of their suspension set up) and stock shocks.

before (whole fist gap)

after (2.5 finger gap)

rear suspension

front suspension

considering i did everything myself and got the springs for free, i'd say its not a bad deal at all. and the ride is pretty stiff considering how soft it was before

not to wee on your bonfire but it still looks quite high to me - it'll prolly come down more when/if you do your shocks

Tis an improvement though

oh its still high, but thats because of the lower profile tires (205/50R15 instead of 205/55R15) and the fact that i don't have some nice 17's in there

its far from being complete, but its a great start for being free

^^^, if you had 17s, you d have a way bigger gap than this, trust me, i was droppped 1.7 front and 1.5 back and when i put my 17s, i could see that the gap was there, so with 1.5 u ll see it. here is a pic of my drop with the 17s. I m workin on new adj shocks and coilovers now, so its gonna be a lot lower now.

on this one, add the orig.jpg at the end to view the the bigger pic, it ll give u an idea.

^^^ yea, its 1.7 front and 1.5 back aerospeed spring on stock shocks for now. looked high has hell to me my front has always been lower then the rear, so i guess the 1.7 in the front evens it out, but yea i thought it was high. not to worry tho hehe, by sunday, i ll have newpics up.

Yikes, that has nowhere near dropped the full amount, I'd guess 20mm max - mine did the same at first when I did my springs.

When I did my shocks and ES bushes it dropped the car the rest of the way.
