I can't shift!

I was coming home from getting a hair cut and was making a right turn from a stop light. From first gear, I couldn't shift into 2nd! So I skipped to 3rd and then I couldn't shift into 4th! When I got home I couldn't shift into Reverse! What the hell! Checked clutch fluid and it's fine. I tried to drive it an hour later and it worked! But...the throw from 1st to 2nd was half (3rd to 4th too)...Any ideas? my brothers say it's the synchros...

thanks in advance...

oh yea...i tried to search already...
