hows it sound with short ram & resonator out?

What is everyones opinion on how it sounds, I am thinking of removing the resonator and wanted to know how it effects sounds and throttle response before I do. I dont want my car to become really really loud unless its a nice deep throaty roar.

on the 4th gen the resonator is the intestine-shaped "thing" which consists of black plastic piping (thus, the intestine remark) attached to what looks like an oversized coolant reservoir (which helps make things quiet). The resonator sits behind the front bumper, and in front of the wheel on the passenger side of the vehicle, just underneath where your OEM air box and filter are.

yea, i had that taken out on my old lude, and there was almost no difference in sound. It reduced air intake also, its not an extreme change like wasif said, but either way, i have 2 resinators if u wanna buy one

that's funny, when I installed my cai and took out the resonator, I noticed a huge difference in sound, at high rpms, or just under WOT you can definitely notice the difference.

There is a difference, but not a dramatic one. Less restriction of air if any which gives your short ram a "deeper roar" as mentioned.

Ya, i had just a ractive muffler, and new piping put in from the cat, to the back. Then i got a nasty hole, so when the pipes were replaced, i asked to take the resonator out, HUGE sound difference if u ask me
