how tha %^*$ do you change your main relay?

how do u change your main relay? i know u have to match up the wires. but how do u get tha relay out of your car? i only see one hole for a bolt on the new one but i cant feel the bolt or anything on the one in my car. help pleez

Okay...you have two options...
One is to mount is somewhere else with the wires connected to it and just leave the old one in place.

The other requires some patience. If you have the new FI main relay, you can take it out by sliding it off the tabs hold it -I used the blunt side of a cutter that has a safety. Once you can slide the new relay out, then it is time to crawl under the kick-panel and try to slide the old one out of the tabs -try a small long flat screw driver.
Once you get the old one out, slide the new one in and then the wires

Presto.....you are done.

Note: Get ready to curse the designers of prelude out because it is going to be a b!tch to get to and get out.

You're talking about the PGM-FI main relay, up in the driver's (for me) footwell? Get a 10 mm (I think) spanner, prepare yourself to be very patient, and undo that bolt (the bolt is on the relay holder, not on the relay itself) one quarter turn at a time.

haha yea tha prob is that i cant even feel that bolt. i kno where it should be but i cant even reach it. oh well guess ill just mount it somewhere else
