How to tell if car is lowered!!!

I know this sounds odd but i'm not sure if the car is lowered or not.

How do you tell? The car seems to sit low at the front especially but i'm not sure if that is standard. It is a JDM Prelude 2.2 non vtec

I have attached pic but not that clear.

My front passenger spring needs replacing. Not sure how to buy them though, whether as lowering springs or manufacturer spec.

Cheers, Chris

cheers...

I can't believe people lower them further in that case , it would be dragging on the floor

In your opinion what are the best non lowered springs to get for the prelude? Are most prelude springs universal? Or do i need the import version or can i use a 2.3 model part?

Thanks, Chris

I know that there is a search function on this forum that allows you to search previous posted topics because I had the same question. Depends on how much money you want to spend. If you want cheap, go to eBay and search the year/make of your car and the part you want. Easy peezy.

The BEST "non-lowering" springs to get would be...well why not stock. And how do you know that you need to replace your spring?

Are all stock springs black?
My springs are blue. Not sure if they're stock or not.

Mine seems to be blue with a thin black layer on top. Not sure if it's just brake dust that’s been baked on there or a very thin coat of black paint.
But where it's touching the spring mounting it's blue.
If I scratch it a bit it's also blue underneath.
Have you tried cleaning / scratching yours slightly to see if it's blue underneath?

Haha.. Yeah, Just think of the 50x50 avatars as a stripping-out weight mod...
Doesn't look as good, but it makes the site faster!
