Hey fellow 4 gener's.. i'm going to upholster the carpetted area on the bottom of the 4th gen door and was wondering if anyone took the grill off that part of the door before and how hard is it? I'm at work and thought i'd post.. so let me know please! Thanks!

It unscrews off the door panel, I can do it for u if u want... I already vinyled mine. And that means u have to take off the door panel 1st.

yeah your going to have to unscrew the whole door panel..should take you no longer than 2 minutes...

Seriously though, you need to remove the entire door panel first (the grill screws in from the backside). I believe there is a thread in the FAQ with removal instructions.
