How point less would it be to...

Weld a 2.5 piping to the stock muffler?

I'd prefer the stock "look" over the after market 3 inch openings :O, or even the tanable still looks too large. So i was thinking about getting a custom 2.5 piping made and welded on to my stock muffler, would it be completely pointless?

thanks in advanced

Why don't you pick up an oval 'eS muffler? I mean, if you wanna rock "stock" look, or at least something stealthy, pick up a black 2.5". I know JHP [used to] carry them, they probably still do.
