I am in the process of completly restoring my car and I have to have my windshield taken out to put new moldings in it. Plus it is pitted pretty bad. How much does the glass cost.

Got mine installed with an OEM glass for $150. Same quality glass as well as visability. Have to watch out for wind blowing your hood up into your window=[

Was I pissed when that happened, but I did have to replace the moldings. The old one could not be reused.
I've got a crack in the middle of my windshield just above my dash ... its kinda curved maybe 3" long, tennis ball shaped kinda curve to it. No chip anywhere by it ... can these be fixed? .. its wierd.

pitted too, wouldnt mind a new one
I don't think cracks can be fixed and it will just spread with time. Chips however can be fixed.
not sure about other states but here in florida, windsheilds are replaced for free by insurance companies. that quote was jacked up high im sure cause they knew insurance was paying for it. divide it in half and if should be closer to our cost.
i need mine replaced...its scratched to hell...plus i think all the molding needs to be redone cause the A and B pillars are starting to rust (me thinks its not the original windsheild...something the dealer convinientlt forgot to tell me)
i've got a hairline crack that goes half way across my windshield, starting at the passenger side doesn't affect me that much, but i need to get it replaced...
