Thats a big panel, doesn't it run pretty much the length of the car to the fender? and the paint and labor would show to cuz they cant paint just that panel, they'd atleast have to blend most of the car.

i got the same problem...im probsbly gonnarent some equipment and cut a huge chunk out, primer the edges and refabricate the cutout peice with bondo and have a shop paint the entire car. Parents said they's pay for it if my grades are excellent this semester....for now i just keep sanding it every few months and using touchup paint on the sucker.

1/4 panels are a ***** since you have to cut them off and weld it onto the car.

Too expensive... I think my Honda dealer said something like 1500$CDN per side. So I let the body shop fix it when I got my car painted and I paid 2000$CDN to paint the entire car and fix those rust spot.

I've been quoted between 500-800$CDN just for those rust spot in the quarter panels both side so just go to a body shop they should be able to do something about it for less than the price of a quarter panel at Honda.

From Honda:

Panel, Qtr section: $582.22 add to that about 30-35 hours of labor.

This is exactly what I just did I was quoted $500 to fix the rear quarter panels and my sunroof 9which was also rusty. I paid $2000 and had them do the whole car. Except mine was $2000 USD.
