How much $$$ for my prelude???

I am thinking about selling my 93 SI Prelude. How much does everyone think my car is worth?

My HP.com setups page.
http://www.hondaprelude.com/setups/s...y.asp?id=10321

Here is a rundown of what it has cost me over the years.
car $9500 (4/1999)
rims $2000 (5/2000)
system and alarm $3000 (5/2000)
used engine $3500 (6/2000)
tails, clears, exhaust, interior mods $1000
clutch $700 (4/2002)

TOTAL = $19,000

The car has rust on both rear quarter panels, needs a paint job and a few hours of body work.
Current mileage on body = 137,000
Engine mileage = 105,000

Any suggestions of what I should do and how much I should ask?

Considering it has an engine w/105k and those mods, I'd say around $8-10k. You might want to part out the rims and stereo.

Good luck!

Sounds about right. You would get more if you part it out

can't really figure the cost of the motor into the price. i'm sure the future buyer also wouldn't want your wheels and prefer stock for a cheaper price.

with mods, i'd say about $5000-$6000

without mods, i'd say about $2500-$4000

reason being, rust in the rear quarters is a big deal on hondas. the value is brought down. also, you list the car needs body work and it needs a paint job. a good condition 93 si with roughly 100k books at around $5000.

i think you'll have a tough time finding a buyer.

considering it's a 93 prelude si, i think it should be around 6-7,500 k. Give them those ugly chrome rims free.... Betcha they dont even bother asking for a deal on them...

and they might want 2 windshield wipers...

I thought about selling mine about 3 weeks ago.

I have a 93 Si w/ 135k miles. I did some investigating, and didnt look like i could sell it for more then 5500 or so.. TOPS.

So i'm gonna hang on to it until i get outa college and gut it and roll cage it and go full autox car w/ it. It's a toy now. heh
