How much hp do I have?

With the following mods:

DC sports Ceramic header
No cat and a Remus exhaust
AEM cold air intake
AEM Pullleys
Magnecor Race Wires

The mods has been done on a 94 VTEC Prelude without Air Conditioning.

Although I know it's not much, I do expect more than 200 hp. And what about the 0-62 Mph? Thanks!

Hard to say, if you are talking flywheel h.p, I would say yes.

But you need to dyno to get the exact figure, then you can figure the driveline loss.

Because of stock 185 hp, DC header 10, Pullleys 3 and CAI 3-5, I did expected it. But if the 185 hp is based on the flywheel. How much hp is realy on the wheels from a stock 94 VTEC Prelude?

No Air Con

Why would you take out air con off a vtec? Oh well, yeah I don't know much about engines though everyone sounds smart on what they are talking about.

The Air Conditioning is run by a belt which comes from the engine...hence it sucks hp to your wheels.

No Air Cond...more hp...and NO, there's no way you have 200 whp.

there is a clutch in the AC pulley.

taking the AC out saved you about 1 HP. the only noticable gain might be in the weight savings.

JDM lude said it perfectly. The A/C compressor has a clutch. When it isnt on, the belt spins virtually resistance free.

Oh, and to redlude- I doubt 200whp. more like 180 being optimistic. Your prelude will probably run a baseline of 160whp. Your wires did nothing, pullies little, and I would give the i/h/e around 15-20 whp. So, IMO you should be floating around 180, there are so many factors involved it is hard to tell though.

There was never a A/C built in my car. Maybe each coutry came with a little different model, but I did notice some difference in car's with A/C. When you drive and turn on the A/C, the car really slows down. You can notice the car had to work harder. I thought, maybe there is a huge difference. I guess not.

But what can I do beside a blower or a turbo, to gain more torque and hp? I think most things that could be done are already done. I just don't wanna use forced induction. There must be some way to gain a lot of power without reducing the lifetime of the engine.

I think he was asking if he would have 200 hp at the crank. I would say yes, in the ballpark of 205-210.
