how much of a gain/ <loss?> will i get from this:

a used 2.5 inch mandrel bent catback exahust ( suppsoedly to greddy specs)(custom made not brand name) with a ractive n1 style muffler on the end w/ a test pipe (which i will probably replace with stock CAT). This is for my 4th gen do you think this will give me any amount of hp or since its not name brand and it has ractive muffler will it be crappy? opinions?

It has mandrel bent piping which is the main reason why exhaust systems are pretty good. As far as gains probably 2-6hp across the board.

well when I first got my lude, I did that I did a custom 2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel piping, to a Ractive N1 knock off muffler. all in all it cost me $350 the gain was like night and day!! i mean of course it was deafening, but hey performaance wise after 3500 RPMS that prelude would pull like a mofo!!!

...good luck. if your wondering about the price being cheap, I got all my work done it the most gangsta ghetto place, but they were freaking CHEAP, and papito did a guy job...

if he replaces the test pipe with his stock cat it wont be that loud...i took my cat out of my old exhaust and it tripled the loudness of my exhaust...since he wants to put the cat back in i dont think he should have a problem
