How much faster is a 93 VTEC?

How much faster is a 93 VTEC compared to a 94-96 VTEC?

Also, does the 4WS add a lot of weight?

Thankx

ive heard that the 93 vtec was the fastest. i dont know how or why. id think the 94-95 are faster because of the lighter wheels. if it is faster, probably by 0.0001s heh

BUNK!

95 has OBDI also, and Honda was fined because most OBDII 96s didn't work anyway. But as for which one's fastest, everybody's just talking out of their butts, because I have yet to see any side-by-side comparisons with multiple cars across all the years. These are old wives tales...

Yeah, this is all a theory. The 93 VTEC is supposidly the fastest VTEC out there, due to the weight. It's a bit lighter than the 94+ models because they don't have so much crap (cup holder, etc.) in the interior. But the rims on the 92-93 are heavier than the 94-96, so it would probably cancel out and all the VTECs running around are just about even. I've never seen any real comparsion either.

dont playa hate on the 93's...

93's 0wN j00...

Stock for Stock, it could be even, but mod for mod.... like replacing the wheels, I/H/E ... the 93 Will take it because from what I've learned here, ODB-I actually responds to Mods and doesn't compensate...... ODB-II, which apparently wasn't working right is still ODB-II when te day is over.. That's like if my Prelude was a 4WS that didn't work properly, at the end of the day, it's still a 4WS...

Go 93's Go 93's Go! hehe.

Prove it.

I am tired of reading boards where people talk about what they think they know and what they heard from somebody else.

Show me a long-term mod-for-mod comparison of OBDI and II VTEC coupes, and that the difference is more than minimal, and I'll believe you.

Ummm that would be the same test buddy. I'm not saying any cars are faster than others, you guys are.

Arguing without proof is a waste of time, becuase the answer at the end of the day is "it depends"

Actually, the 1993 VTEC is the fastest and thats for sure, because it does weigh less than a 94. The 93 VTEC is the fastest prelude built ever. PERIOD.

By how much now is what i'm wondering.
