Manual SI curb weight is 2866 according to C&D, who also pulled off a 15.6, but that's C&D.

Jesuchristo!!! If my car really weighs that much, and I haven't known the truth this whole time, I really am going to get a turbo hatch.

My lude weighed in at a hefty 2920 lbs. I have 17s, 15" sub with big ass box, body kit... (basically a lot heavier than stock.)

This is good... I tore all my subs, my box, my amp out of the trunk (after it fried for the 2nd time), and I have a c/f hood, no spare, no tool kit, no trunk liner, and I'm missing various other parts... maybe I'm at a hefty 2600 lbs... 2500 is my goal...

the gross vehicle weight on the label of the car is much higher than the curb weight of the vehicle. but all the cars are the same, i looked at the little gvw label on an integra and it said like 3700lbs and it really only weighs 2600lbs. so i dunno. maybe the gvw is if the car is loaded to capacity with passengers, all fluids full, trunk filled to capacity...etc...etc...

Wow, cool info! I've had an on going argument with a fellow Lude owner that our cars weigh less then 3K, he even wanted to bet me $100! Now I know.

1. GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating): Means the maximum permissible loaded weight of the vehicle. The GVWR is equal to or greater than the sum of the unloaded vehicle weight plus the net carrying capacity.
2. GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating): Means the maximum permissible loaded weight a specific axle is designed to carry.
3. Base Weight: Means the weight of the vehicle without fuel, options, water, cargo or passengers.
4. GCWR (Gross Combined Weight Rating): Means the value specified by the vehicle manufacturer as the maximum allowable loaded weight of this vehicle with its towed vehicle. Towing and braking capacities may differ.
