My new paintjob was only around 2k, but I did most of the work. And since I used an OEM color (s2k monte carlo blue.. OMFG SEXY) PPG wouldnt supply me with the paint like usual. F'ers.

i call it the dentator..ha. it's basically a suction cup thats safe on paint. little dents are easy, its the huge dents that have to be banged out and refinished that are an itch.
i understand that little dents are easy to recover but i see some cars are painted beautiful and then i see it from an angle that there's lot's of little dents ( unsmooth) mostly on the side of doors

You can paint a car with no body work..
I refuse to paint a car until its perfect, and I refuse to do "ghetto" jobs for people who cant afford a "good" paint job. But its all painters choice.
Nothing showing with my name as the body man will have imperfections.
Oh, and if you're referring to small dents that are usually in rows, spaced or not spaced between each other, that's bad body work.. the person had a larger dent "tapped" out of the panel.
