How Much Could I get... please help

I have been thinking lately about some thoughts that alot of people here wouldnt like. Those thoughts include selling my Prelude and getting another car. The fact of the matter is that I really want a car that can handle exceptionally well, and can give me more bang for my $$$.

So I wanted to know how much I could expect to get for my Prelude if I sold it to a private party. Please check out my setup at HP.com to get the info for it. I would be selling it with everything except the audio system. The Car also has 116,000 miles on it. Thanks alot guys, Im not definate about selling the lude yet... but an FC3S has been haunting my dreams lately.

We'd be sorry to see you move on, but if you have to............you have to.

It's a nice car, I would say that you should ask for 9500-10000.

It's very hard to sell a modded car, or a stock car for that matter. I find it to be a huge chore and a headache Others have no problems, I guess they are just lucky.

I sold my almost stock (only had a GReddy Sp cat-back) 93 Si 4WS Prelude two years ago with 69,000 miles for $8700, and the car was perfect in and out. I originally was asking 12000, but three months later, I really needed to sell it because I had bought my current 94 VTEC so I settled for $8700.
I would say that your best bet is try Edmunds.com, they have decent resale estimates. Once you get that number you can add some more to the price for the mods you've done.

Good luck in whatever you decide.

Mark

I would hope to sell it some kid in High School or something. My friend Matt just sold his 5th Gen Civic EX with a B16A swap for $7000 to a High School Senior. I havent made my decision, I have to talk to my dad about it first since he owns half of the car. Plus, then there is the task of finding a nice FC Turbo2 located near me. The only one I have found is a nice 10th Anniversary Turbo2 for $5000... but it needs new Apex Seals. I dunno... it would be very hard emotionally to let the lude go.

Hey,
I have these thoughts too. I am lloking ata FD tho I have found a nice Silver one that I want and it just had the motor replaced 20k ago, and a DP was put on at that time. My friend just bought a NICE white FC T2. It was very nice. I am debating whether or not to sell. I would need to sell my car, Fmax turbo Kit(brand NEW, and Hondata 2B. I have an offer for 8,500 for my car, but my engine was just rebuilt, and from listening to what you guys are saying, that isn't to good of an offer. What do you think I could get? See my Setup here
Thanks guys,
Josh
