no, dont go to any chain paint shop. Go to some (non chain ones) in your area, and get a free estimate. thats the best way to tell. its hard to put an "average" price on that.... it can vary from $1000 - $8000

do not go to maaco or earl schilb (that how you spell it?)... they do a ****ty job ... even their "premium" package suck.

An average paint job is 1500 for the same color (stock color your car is, excluding engine bay). Different color paint usually goes 2000. Custom paint such as Kandy colors is about 3000-3500. That also goes for color with pearl and such... so 1500 for same color. 2000+ for different color (excluding engine bay).

getting my ride all done up for 1G
custom work on my front kit, shaving everything except handles, body work from my accident and remove all the dents within reason(all the millions of door dings will take forever) and as long as i have the car he'll guarantee it not to peel or crack, etc...as long as i take care of it.

1300 to change colour to whatever i want except that chameleon. but he'll do pearl mixing for me.

this is in DE so if you're near and you go in with me he'll give you something close to that.

go get a job at a body shop. one guy at cecil couple weeks ago had his teg painted up front and blended out back into the stock blue. but front was four pearls mixed beautifully. he paid 99 bucks just for the pint of paint cause he worked there and he did all the body work. just had his boss spray it for him. wish i worked at a body shop.

Just make sure they have a rust warrenty - 2 months and rust formed on the rear wheel wells and the body shop would not take responsibility for it. It was never there to begin with! If your in NYC - don't go to T&S autobody on 3rd Avenue in Brooklyn
